Hello!
I'm Sandra, dog trainer who has trained with IMDT*, and I live in the Mottisfont area which is surrounded by beautiful Hampshire woodland and fields.
I find great purpose and joy in training and engaging with dogs. I currently live with Teemo, the snaggle-toothed terrier mix, Mocha, an interesting blend of Prague Ratter and Miniature Pinscher, Harry, the shy and gentle Poodle Mix, and Florence, the sassy Toy Poodle. Teemo and Mocha came from Cyprus, Harry from the Azores, and little Florence from Essex!
I have many years of experience in agility, scent work, heel work, music, hoopers, gun dogs, and obedience training. I have competed in Agility and reached KC Grade 5 (with both Harry and Florence), and I have competed twice at Crufts in Obreedience (same-breed teamwork obedience).
I have attended many workshops, courses and classes over the years and I am currently studying with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers. Achieving results through force-free methods is very important to me and my passion is to bring out every dog's best side.

Before setting up The K9 Club, I ran my own dog walking business, K9 Enrichment Walks, for over 2 years. I had the pleasure of working with dogs of all shapes and sizes, ages, and abilities.
I have a fondness for shy guys and love to help build their confidence through trick training and play. But I also can’t resist a crazy pooch with a zest for life!

Most of my dogs over the years have been rescues, and as such, I am well aware of their occasional insecurities and little foibles. Equally, I have had my share of little divas, too (boys and girls!)

My aim with The K9 Club is to offer something different to dogs and their owners; so much can be achieved through play, and I'm excited to show you some new games and techniques to help you build your bond.
