Hi, I'm Sandra - founder of the K9 Club.

 

I believe dog training should feel supportive, enjoyable, and achievable for both dogs and their owners. My aim is to create classes where people feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and building real connection with their dogs - without judgement or pressure.

 

Using modern, reward based methods, I focus on helping dogs develop confidence, focus, and emotional resilience, and practical life skills in a way that feels engaging and rewarding.

 

Every dog is different, and every team learns differently. Whether you're looking to improve every day life skills, try something new together, or simply enjoy spending time together training in a supportive environment, classes are designed to help both ends of the lead feel successful.

Qualifications

 

I've been working with dogs for many years, across a wide range of activities: agility, scentwork, heelwork to music, hoopers, gundog training, rally and trick training. I'm proud to have competed twice at Crufts in Obreedience and achieved KC Grade 5 in agility (with two different dogs).

Along that journey I have also gathered professional credentials, including:

For me, training isn't about creating "perfect" dogs.

It's about helping dogs and owners understand each other better, communicate more clearly, and enjoy learning together.

Some dogs need confidence.

Some need focus.

Some simply need the right environment to thrive.
